About Fellow
Fellow is a San Francisco design company founded in 2013 by CEO Jake Miller, built around the idea that brewing great coffee at home starts with better-designed equipment. The company launched its first product, the stovetop Stagg Pour-Over kettle, through a Kickstarter campaign in 2014 before following it two years later with the Stagg EKG, an electric version with app connectivity that became the reference point for electric gooseneck kettles. The current catalog has grown to cover electric and stovetop kettles, burr grinders, pour-over drippers, insulated French presses, and drinkware.
In our own testing on DIYRated's electric kettle roundup, the Fellow Stagg EKG Pro stood apart for its continuous, to-the-degree temperature adjustment from 135°F to 212°F and a full-color LCD display that shows the real water temperature as it climbs, the most precise control of any kettle we reviewed. Independent coverage backs that impression: Coffee Review scored the Stagg EKG 9.5 overall, and Tom's Guide named it an Editor's Choice, calling it "the very best of the gooseneck kettles."
