About Vacmaster
Vacmaster is the wet/dry vacuum brand of Cleva North America, Inc., the same manufacturer behind LawnMaster and the North American Armor All vacuum line. Cleva brings more than 22 years of manufacturing experience, production across facilities in 97 regions worldwide, and over 80 million units sold. Vacmaster's own catalog runs to dozens of wet/dry vacs, spanning ash vacuums, HEPA-certified models, and the Vacmaster Professional Beast Series, alongside household vacuums, floor and carpet cleaners, and air-care equipment.
The brand backs that range with real engineering, not just badge features: its proprietary FLT+ Filter Lift Technology replaces the traditional cylindrical cartridge filter with a flat filter mounted in the powerhead for more usable tank capacity and less clogging, and the MX24V shared battery system lets a single rechargeable battery power tools across both the Vacmaster and LawnMaster lines. That focus on innovation earned Cleva North America the Gold Award for Innovation in the Wet/Dry Vac Category from Home Improvement Executive magazine for the Vacmaster Professional Beast Series, with company president Alain Duque crediting the honor to the team staying "at the forefront of vacuum technology." In our own shop vac testing, the Vacmaster VBV1210 stood out for pairing a wide-mouth hose with a genuine detachable blower function most wet/dry vacs in its price tier don't offer.

Why we recognized Vacmaster
The DIYRated Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our hands-on category reviews. Vacmaster earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: bought, put to work on real jobs, and judged on merit.
Vacmaster products we rated highly
Vacmaster VBV1210 12 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum with Detachable Blower
The only wet/dry vac in our shop vac testing that converts into a standalone handheld leaf blower, a genuine two-in-one for garages where storage space is tight. Its 2-1/4 in. hose is wider than the 1-7/8 in. category standard, handling bulky debris like wood shavings and large drywall chunks without clogging, and its 12-gallon tank gave us one of the best capacity-to-footprint combinations we tested at its horsepower tier. Nearly 3,000 verified buyers back a 4.5-star rating.
