About ECOVACS
ECOVACS was founded in 1998 in Suzhou, China, by Qian Dongqi, and introduced its first DEEBOT floor-cleaning robot in 2006, well ahead of most of the robot-vacuum brands competing today. The company went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2018 under ticker 603486, and its DEEBOT and WINBOT lines now sell in more than 60 countries. ECOVACS also built the WINBOT, the world's first robotic window cleaner, and the AIRBOT air-purification robot, and has recently pushed outdoors with the GOAT robotic lawn mower and the Ultramarine robotic pool cleaner.
In our own testing, the DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone stood out as the roundup's large-home specialist: 200 minutes of runtime, the longest we tested, mechanical wheels that clear roughly 0.9-inch thresholds many budget robots get stuck on, and ECOVACS' first bagless self-empty dock, which cuts the ongoing cost and waste of replacement dock bags. The X11 OmniCyclone was also named a CES 2026 Innovation Awards honoree, and outside labs at RTINGS and Vacuum Wars measured some of the highest suction, airflow, and deep-cleaning scores those outlets have recorded on a robot vacuum.

What ECOVACS makes
ECOVACS's range runs wider than the products we review. The lines we know best from our own testing are marked with a star:
DEEBOT robot vacuums
LiDAR-mapping and camera-navigation floor-cleaning robots, including combo vacuum-and-mop models — the line featured in our testing — featured on DIYRated
WINBOT robotic window cleaners
the world's first robotic window-cleaning line, including a ladder-free compact model
GOAT robotic lawn mowers
boundary-free outdoor mowing robots using dual-LiDAR navigation
AIRBOT air purification robots
mobile air-purification robots that move through the home rather than sitting stationary
Ultramarine pool cleaner
autonomous robotic pool cleaner rated for high hourly cleaning capacity
Replacement parts and accessories
side brushes, filters, mop pads, and dock bags for the DEEBOT and WINBOT lines
Why we recognized ECOVACS
The DIYRated Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our hands-on category reviews. ECOVACS earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: bought, put to work on real jobs, and judged on merit.
ECOVACS products we rated highly
ECOVACS DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone
ECOVACS' first bagless auto-empty station, cutting the ongoing cost and waste of replacement dock bags. In our testing it posted the longest runtime in the roundup at 200 minutes, mechanical wheels that climb roughly 0.9-inch steps and cross 1.6-inch gaps without getting stranded at thresholds, and a tangle-free roller that multi-dog households praised. The X11 OmniCyclone was also named a CES 2026 Innovation Awards honoree, and independent testing at RTINGS and Vacuum Wars measured some of the highest suction, airflow, and deep-cleaning scores those outlets have recorded on a robot vacuum.
