About Barrina
Barrina has designed and sold LED shop and grow lighting since 2011, building its catalog around T5 and T8 tubular fixtures for workshops, garages, and commercial spaces alongside plant-growth lighting for indoor growers. The company, registered as Hongkong Qianwu Trading Co., Limited, sells direct through its own site at barrina-led.com and through Amazon, and multiple product lines in its shop-light and grow-light categories have held top-selling positions on Amazon for years running.
In Jake Morrison's testing for DIYRated, the Barrina BS84 4FT 84W LED Shop Light stood out for concentrating 10,000 lumens into a single ETL-certified fixture with a built-in pull chain, and the Barrina T5 8-Pack for making a fast, chain-free clip-mount install practical across a full garage perimeter. Both fixtures carry a deep Amazon review record: the BS84 holds 627 ratings at 4.7 stars and the T5 8-pack has built up nearly 8,000 ratings at 4.6 stars, a track record that in Jake's installs has lined up with real-world reliability rather than early hype.

Why we recognized Barrina
The DIYRated Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our hands-on category reviews. Barrina earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: bought, put to work on real jobs, and judged on merit.
Barrina products we rated highly
Barrina BS84 LED Shop Light, 4FT 84W 10000lm
10,000 lumens from a single 84W fixture means one BS84 replaces two or three standard 4,400 lm lights, and it's ETL certified with documented FCC Part 15 Class B compliance, so there are no garage-door-opener interference complaints across the review record. The built-in 8.2-inch pull chain also means no wall switch or smart plug is needed, which matters in older garages where the only existing switch runs the door opener.

Barrina T5 LED Shop Light, 4FT 20W 6500K, 8-Pack 17600lm Total
A featherweight T5 tube format that clips directly into ceiling-mounted base brackets with no chain or hanging hardware, giving it the fastest install of any fixture DIYRated has tested in this category. Linkable up to 8 fixtures in series via included jumper cables, it covers the full perimeter of a 2-car garage on a single power drop, and it's ETL certified and hardwireable, with reliable cold-start performance in unheated garages where fluorescent tubes flicker.

- A T5/T8 shop-light lineup with more than a decade on the market (since 2011), giving DIYRated a long, verifiable review history to evaluate rather than a fresh, unproven listing.
- The BS84 concentrates 10,000 lumens into one ETL-certified 84W fixture, cutting the mounting points and drilling needed to light a garage bay compared to multi-fixture setups.
- Documented FCC Part 15 Class B compliance on the BS84 means no reported garage-door-opener interference, a real-world failure mode with cheaper non-certified imports.
- The T5 8-pack's clip-mount, chain-free installation is the fastest of any fixture DIYRated has installed in this category, and it's linkable up to 8 fixtures in series for whole-garage perimeter coverage.
- A deep, verified Amazon review base across both fixtures — 627 ratings at 4.7 stars on the BS84 and nearly 8,000 ratings at 4.6 stars on the T5 8-pack.
