About EGO Power+
EGO Power+ is the outdoor power equipment brand of Chervon, a power tool manufacturer founded in 1993 and headquartered in Nanjing, China, with its North American design, sales, and marketing operations run out of Naperville, Illinois. Chervon introduced the EGO POWER+ platform in 2014, built around a proprietary 56V ARC Lithium battery system engineered to match gas-class output. The lineup has since grown into one of the broadest cordless outdoor catalogs on the market, spanning mowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, string trimmers, snow blowers, pressure washers, and hedge trimmers, all sharing batteries across the same 56V platform.
Consumer Reports rated EGO its top battery lawn tool brand, writing that EGO "consistently rises to the top of our ratings across categories for most of the outdoor power tools we test." In our own hands-on testing across five categories, what stands out is how far the battery platform stretches: a homeowner who buys into one EGO 56V battery can run a mower, chainsaw, leaf blower, string trimmer, and even a two-stage snow blower off the same packs. EGO backs the lineup with a 5-year tool warranty and a 3-year battery warranty, administered in the US and Canada by Chervon North America, among the strongest warranty terms of any brand in our outdoor power roundups.

EGO Power+ products we rated highly
EGO POWER+ CS1613 56V 16-Inch Cordless Chainsaw Kit
The best cordless chainsaw for most homeowners in our testing. The 16-inch bar and 20 m/s chain speed deliver roughly 40cc gas-equivalent cutting power, felling trees up to 14 inches in diameter and bucking firewood without bogging down in hardwood. It ships as a complete kit with a 4.0 Ah battery and charger rated for up to 220 cuts per charge, tool-free dial chain tensioning, and an inertia-activated chain brake for kickback protection. At 4.6 stars across 2,195 ratings, it's the highest-rated and most-reviewed full-size cordless saw in our roundup.

EGO POWER+ LB6151 Cordless Leaf Blower Kit
The best cordless leaf blower for most homeowners. 765 CFM at 200 MPH is the highest air volume in our roundup, moving wet, matted fall leaves and packed debris that lighter blowers just push around. The brushless motor's variable-speed trigger and turbo button give a quiet sweep mode for light debris and a full-throttle setting for clogged gutters, and it ships as a complete kit with a 2.5 Ah battery and charger. At 4.7 stars across 8,412 reviews, it's the largest and highest-rated verified sample in the category.

EGO Power+ SNT2400 24-Inch Two-Stage Cordless Snow Blower (Tool Only)
The most powerful cordless snow blower we've tested, and the first battery-powered model that genuinely competes with gas two-stage machines. Its dual 56V battery system drives a true two-stage design with a steel auger and impeller that throws snow up to 50 feet, clearing 8 to 10 inches of dry snow on a standard two-car driveway on one charge, with push-button starting and near-silent, zero-emissions operation.

EGO Power+ ST1623T 56V 16" Telescopic Carbon Fiber String Trimmer
The best cordless string trimmer for most homeowners. LINE IQ automatic line feed eliminates bump-feed entirely, sensing line wear and paying out fresh line on its own, and POWERLOAD reload lets you re-string the head in under 10 seconds with no spool disassembly. The telescopic carbon fiber shaft adjusts for different users, and the 60-minute runtime on the included 4.0Ah battery handles a full one-acre lot in a single session, backed by a 5-year tool / 3-year battery warranty.

EGO POWER+ LM2135SP 21" Select Cut Self-Propelled 56V Lawn Mower
One of our top lawn mower picks for hills and large lawns. Touch Drive self-propel is thumb-activated and variable-speed, so it doesn't fight you on slopes or tight turns, and the Select Cut multi-blade stack produces visibly cleaner cuts on tall or seeded lawns than any single-blade mower in the roundup. The kit includes both a 7.5Ah and 5.0Ah battery, enough to finish most half-acre lawns on the larger pack alone, backed by a best-in-class 5-year tool warranty.

EGO POWER+ LM2114 21" Cordless Push Lawn Mower (6.0Ah)
A top pick for flat half-acre lots in our lawn mower testing. 6.0 ft-lb of torque pushes through weedy or neglected grass that stalls lighter cordless mowers, LED headlights and IPX4 weather resistance are standard, and the included 6.0Ah battery covers a typical half-acre lawn in one 55-minute session. It shares batteries with every other EGO 56V tool in our roundup, mower, blower, trimmer, chainsaw, and snow blower alike.
