About Kraus
Kraus USA Plumbing LLC was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Port Washington, New York. The company builds its kitchen and bathroom line around sinks and faucets, branching into workstation sinks, garbage disposals, water filtration systems, and matching accessories like soap dispensers and cutting boards. Kraus builds most of its kitchen faucets, including the Bolden and Oletto lines we've reviewed, around lead-free brass bodies and ceramic disc cartridges, and backs its faucets with a Lifetime Limited Warranty on structure and finish plus a 5-year warranty on the cartridge.
Kraus has also built an environmental angle into part of its lineup, partnering with Oceanworks to use reclaimed ocean-bound plastic in select products. On its own site, Kraus highlights high customer satisfaction ratings across its catalog, and in our own testing on DIYRated, both Kraus faucets we reviewed carried 4.6-star average ratings, with the Bolden backed by nearly 10,000 verified Amazon reviews.

Why we recognized Kraus
The DIYRated Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our hands-on category reviews. Kraus earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: bought, put to work on real jobs, and judged on merit.
Kraus products we rated highly
Kraus Bolden Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet
An all-brass body throughout, rather than zinc alloy or plastic-composite internals, which we found delivers better corrosion resistance in high-use kitchens. The industrial spring-coil adds 360-degree rotation and more hose flexibility for reaching across wide farmhouse and apron-front sinks, and it's available in six finishes. It carries a 4.6-star rating across 9,718 Amazon reviews.

Kraus Oletto Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet
An all-brass body with pre-attached water supply lines that ship ready to connect, which in our testing cut install time versus faucets requiring separately purchased braided lines. A 360-degree swivel with Reach Technology extends the spray head further than the stated reach, useful on wide farmhouse sinks. It holds a 4.6-star rating across more than 1,480 reviews.
