About PRESTIGE
PRESTIGE Paints is an online-only paint brand, co-founded by Jeff Peterson and Mark Becker, built to sell paint directly through Amazon rather than through a big-box store. Its acrylic latex paints are American-manufactured and ship to the buyer's door within two days, a model that has made it the top-selling interior and exterior paint brand on Amazon.
The brand's standout feature is Prestige ColorMatch, a tinting service that can match any gallon to color codes from Sherwin-Williams, Behr, Valspar, and Benjamin Moore, so a homeowner who already picked a color in-store can still buy the matching paint online. Its companion ColorPic app lets shoppers preview hundreds of colors on a photo of their own wall before ordering. In our own testing for DIYRated, PRESTIGE's paint-and-primer-in-one formula delivered low-VOC performance, smooth self-leveling application, and reliable coverage, which made it one of the products we rated highest in our interior paint testing.

Why we recognized PRESTIGE
The DIYRated Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our hands-on category reviews. PRESTIGE earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: bought, put to work on real jobs, and judged on merit.
PRESTIGE products we rated highly
PRESTIGE Paints Interior Paint and Primer in One, Flat, White, 1 Gallon
A paint-and-primer-in-one that covers most repaints in a single product, with a low-VOC formula under 5 g/L and a self-leveling acrylic latex that flows out smoothly with brush, roller, or sprayer. The color-match service, which ships custom-tinted gallons matched to Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore swatches, is the feature that made it one of our top picks for interior wall paint.

PRESTIGE Interior Ceiling Paint, Brite White, 1 Gallon
A low-spatter ceiling paint with a bright matte white that stays under 5 g/L VOC, so a room can be slept in the same night with normal ventilation. Cheaper per gallon than the brand's wall paint, as ceiling paint should be, while still cutting the mess that lands on furniture and floors during application.
