About PurSteam
PurSteam is a steam-appliance brand headquartered in New York City, selling steam mops, steam irons, and handheld garment steamers direct to consumers online. Since December 1, 2020, PurSteam has operated as part of Aterian, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATER), a publicly traded e-commerce company that acquired the brand's assets alongside the Mueller, Pohl and Schmitt, and Spiralizer brands in a bundled deal disclosed in Aterian's SEC filings. The current catalog spans multi-surface steam mops (including 10-in-1 and 12-in-1 models and the dual-head ScrubMaster), a line of steam irons, and handheld and garment steamers.
The ThermaPro 211 10-in-1 Steam Mop we feature has been independently tested by Consumer Reports, which rated it excellent in its cleaning test (combined stain removal across ceramic tile) and very good for steam production, with a good score for convenience. On Amazon it has accumulated more than 54,000 verified customer reviews at a 4.2-star average, the highest review count of any steam mop in our roundup. What stands out in our own evaluation is the versatility packed into an upright mop: a detachable handheld unit and a full 10-piece accessory kit that let it double as a counter, appliance, grout, and upholstery cleaner without stepping up to a dedicated canister system.

Why we recognized PurSteam
The DIYRated Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our hands-on category reviews. PurSteam ThermaPro 211 10-in-1 Steam Mop
The most-reviewed steam mop in our roundup at 54,000-plus verified Amazon ratings, with real-world durability well documented across years of weekly use. The detachable handheld unit converts the mop into a counter, appliance, grout, and upholstery cleaner in seconds, and the full 10-accessory kit rivals dedicated canister steam cleaners at roughly half the price. Independently, Consumer Reports rated it excellent in its cleaning test and very good for steam output.
