About Zip-It
Zip-It is the hair-clog-removal tool made by Cobra Tools, a drain-cleaning tools brand now owned by Homewerks Worldwide, LLC, a home improvement products company based in Lake Bluff, Illinois. Homewerks completed its acquisition of the Cobra drain tools product line from BrassCraft Manufacturing Co. in March 2023, folding hair snakes, drain and toilet augers, drum machines, bladders, and plungers into a portfolio that also includes the Plumb Craft, LDR, and Simply Clean brands.
The Zip-It itself is a barbed, poly-plastic drain stick made in the USA, designed to physically hook and pull a hair clog out of a sink, shower, or tub drain without pouring in any chemicals. It's stocked nationally at retailers including Walmart, Menards, True Value, and Ace Hardware, and sits alongside Cobra's professional-grade augers and cable machines for the clogs a hand tool alone can't reach.
